Please call the church office if you would like to help out in any of our global outreach ministries. It takes many hands to do God's work!







Zion members participate in Lutheran World Relief by contributing kits that help people coping with emergency and disaster:

  • Health Kits (towels, soap, comb, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Baby Care Kits (receiving blankets, diapers, clothing, gentle soap, towels, etc.)
  • School Kits (notebooks, ruller, pencil, pencil  sharpener, crayons, etc.)


Dedicated Zion members and non-members also assemble hundreds of beautiful quilts for distribution through Lutheran World Relief. Every year we display the quilts on the church pews before we send them off to Lutheran World Relief:

ELCA Global Mission


Zion Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Pare Diocese


Zion is partnered with Lambo, Tanzania through our synod partnership with the Pare Diocese in Tanzania. We have sent church members to our sister church in Lambo, and welcome representatives of the Lambo church at Zion. Learn more about the Zion's history with Lambo. the 24th
of each


A vigil candle stays lit throughout the day on the 24th of each month. A place for prayer and meditation is offered for those that would like to stop by to pray.  You are invited to bring your own thoughts and prayers.
